Redeemer School is a loving, Christian environment that provides a well-rounded education and prepares students for success in all areas of life: academically, socially and spiritually.

Redeemer School's Academic Principals

A strong, and equal, emphasis on academic excellence, social-emotional development and spiritual growth characterizes academics at Redeemer School. Redeemer integrates morally-driven teachings into every aspect of learning, emphasizing the values of Respect, Ownership, Attitude, and Responsibility (“ROAR”), which our students are encouraged to live by every day.
  • Small class sizes allow for personalized attention and a focus on differentiated instruction, ensuring that teachers give each student the tools they need to succeed.
  • Our faculty are highly qualified and committed to providing a rigorous education that challenges students to think critically and develop a love of learning.
  • In addition to core subjects, all Redeemer students are encouraged to participate in various co-curricular activities, including art, athletics, music and performing arts designed to foster creativity, leadership and teamwork.

Transitional Kindergarten At-A-Glance
Redeemer’s Transitional Kindergarten program offers a holistic and nurturing educational experience for young learners. Rooted in the philosophy of play-centered learning, this program recognizes the immense value of play in early childhood development. Through engaging activities and interactive play, our students not only build foundational academic skills but also cultivate essential social, emotional and cognitive abilities.
At Redeemer’s Transitional Kindergarten, play-centered learning fosters collaboration, creativity and problem-solving, while also instilling a lifelong love of learning. In this supportive environment, children develop confidence and a strong sense of curiosity, setting a solid foundation for their educational journey ahead. Our small class size ensures students learn math, science, pre-reading skills, pre-writing skills and Christian studies through thematic units and engaging play. As families begin their educational journey with us, they gain a loving and warm community for their young children to grow and thrive.
Early Education At-A-Glance
Our Kindergarten students are prepared to delve into their early education years (K-2nd) with a sense of academic curiosity and belonging.
Literacy: Age and developmentally appropriate literacy instruction is paramount in creating effective and engaging learning environments for students. Recognizing that each stage presents unique challenges and opportunities, tailoring literacy approaches to students’ cognitive, emotional, and social readiness is crucial. By aligning reading materials, strategies, and activities with students’ developmental levels, our faculty ensures that learning is both enjoyable and effective, promoting lifelong literacy skills.
Our in-house Reading Specialist ensures children have the support they need to establish reading skills to carry them through their educational journey. Our teachers use Benchmark Advance language arts curriculum to develop foundational skills and a love for reading.
Mathematics: Using the Big Ideas Math Common Core curriculum, our students develop introductory skills for math, while developing the understanding that there are many ways to look at and solve a problem. This approach sets a framework that helps prepare students for more challenging math concepts ahead. Our staff utilize fun and unique learning materials to ensure students gain a deep understanding of concepts and proficiency with grade level math skills.
Our young learners start a science curriculum to build foundational skills and begin to ask questions and wonder deeply about our world. From Kindergarten on, all students engage in Christian Studies, Social Studies, Spanish, Music for Minors and Art in Action.
Social emotional learning is woven through every aspect of a Redeemer education. Students learn self-regulation and stress management, empowering them to navigate challenges with adaptability and resilience. This helps build a stronger community of children focused on inclusion, kindness and respect.

Intermediate Education At-A-Glance
Building on the foundation of their early education, the curriculum across intermediate classes (3rd-5th) is designed to help children further hone their skills and “read to learn.”
Children deepen their understanding of more complex concepts in math, communicate with more organization and purpose, build on their Spanish skills, and learn to ask deeper questions about the world. Christian studies emphasizes God’s faithfulness throughout the Old and New Testaments and adds in conflict resolution curriculum for students learning to navigate relationships with Biblical peacemaking.
Students further develop their critical thinking skills in Science and Social Studies. Throughout their intermediate education, students participate in Class Musicals, and are encouraged to play on Redeemer’s athletic teams by 3rd/4th grade, where everyone plays and children develop leadership and teamwork skills. In intentional preparation for Middle School, students continue their social-emotional journey, learning: community, inclusion, self-advocacy and taking responsibility.

Middle School Education At-A-Glance
Redeemer Middle School (6th-8th) is the culmination of growth and preparation for high school and beyond. Our dynamic approach to learning, in and out of the classroom, is intentionally designed to empower students’ academic, personal and spiritual growth. This can be a tricky time for parents and pre-teens as they navigate growing awareness of themselves in the world.
Our smaller class sizes and high staff-to-child ratios provide engagement, mentorship and personal attention for each student. Throughout their Middle School experience, students are challenged academically and encouraged to push themselves in ways that grow their minds and spirits. And with added opportunities for enrichment and leadership, our middle school graduates are ready for the next stage of their academic journey.
